You probably come across the term nameserver while you are trying to connect your domain name to your web hosting. So, Before you jump into what is Hostgator Nameservers, let’s have a look at what is Nameservers.
Nameserver is a server that helps to connect A URL with an IP address of the web servers.
Let’s clear it, For example, You enter a URL in Your browser, like “www.passiveblogger.com. And it needs to connect the URL with the underlying web server that hosted the website at that domain name.

Basically, there are two ways you can find Nameservers in Hostgator. The first is the Hostgator Using cPanel. And the second option is through the Hostgator Customer Portal.
Using Your cPanel or Hostgator Customer Portal both are easy to find nameservers. Just follow the step below:
#1. Using Your cPanel
To find Nameservers, simply login to your cPanel, and have a look at the right side of your cPanel Home Page.
- Login to your cPanel
- Click on the left-hand side
- Check General Info
With cPanel is easy. However, hope You have successfully found your nameserver in cPanel.
#2. Using Customer Portal
- Log in to your Customer Portal.
- Select Hosting from the left-hand menu.
- In the hosting package, click the “Manage” link.
- Click the” Settings” tab.
